Founded in 1965 by Gerhard Wörther, Wörther pens have been producing the same exceptional mechanical pencils and pens to this day, for over 25 years. It is said that Wörther work by the mantra of attaching great importance to the design and quality of their products, and each product is manufactured in house. The employees of Wörther make some of the parts entirely by hand, and a company goal is to save the jobs in Baden-Baden. A strong relationship between Wörther and it’s hometown is evident in it’s products with the use of local materials. The mechanical pencils are not only made from aluminium or high-grade plastics but also from local plum or cherry wood. It is this type of passion which drives Wörther forward into brilliance in conjunction with German engineering.
