Pelikan M730. This pen has a very interesting history. It started its life basically in the mid-1980s as a prototype pen, as one of the contenders for the Jubilee pen for Pelikan’s 150-year anniversary, year 1988. However, this did not happen, as that glory went to the models M750 and M760. Nonetheless, the design stuck around just to be revived several years later as this pen, the official M730 made for a little under 5 years. Even in its nearly 5-year run, this pen was made in extremely limited quantities, quantities that today would have easily placed it in a limited edition series, and hence there are not many of these pens left out there.
