Omas – Marconi blue

This pen was designed to commemorate the development and application of the wireless radio by Gugliemo Marconi. 1995 was the European Year of Radio in 1995, celebrating one hundred years of the progress of global telecommunications. There was a limited production of only 4,000 pieces made.This fountain pen is characterized by its classic style, created from Omas’ proprietary cotton resin in midnight blue, symbolizing outer space. The pen is embellished with a series of slender metal bands representing radio waves.The clip is a stylization of the wireless telegraphy key.
