Montblanc Patron of Art – Marquise de Pompadour 4810 –  The Patron of Art Marquise de Pompadour edition honors a captivating personality and an outstanding historical figure. The splendid gold-plated body and engravings of the 4810 edition represent the luxury of court life in Versailles. The cap, made of very fine Meissen porcelain and decorated with a hand-painted rose and gold sepia, recalls Marquise’s love for porcelain. In homage to the age in which she lived, the 18-karat gold nib is decorated with a delicate engraving typical of the rococo style.
