Pietro Vannucci, known as Perugino (1448-1523), was one of the greatest Renaissance exponents of Umbrian painting, a contemporary of Verrocchio and Leonardo da Vinci, and teacher of Raphael.
In his works there are often architectural elements which, thanks to the skilful use of perspective, amplify the main scene.

In the photo, a detail of the “Delivery of the Keys” fresco in the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, whose elements were included in the decoration of Delta’s Perugino fountain pen.
