Description

Maurizio Abrami collected 123 Tibaldi “Iride” fountain pens, engraved the logo of his shop, numbered them and gave them an “independent” life. In this way he has transformed them into a rarity for collectors, just like a variety of butterflies, typical of northern Italy, is rare.
The Iris butterfly has, in the male, black wings with iridescent reflections, hence the colors of the reborn Iris feather.
Pen in transparent celluloid, in a warm earth color, with inserts in black and mother of pearl, with simple and essential lines, typical of the Tibaldi of the thirties.
Hood is adorned with three true in gold. Characteristic “tie” clip.
