Writers Edition of the year 2008, of the prestigious series of Montblanc numbered pens dedicated to the most famous writers, poets and men of letters.
This edition is dedicated to George Bernard Shaw, renowned Irish writer and thinker.
The pens are in marbled dark green lacquer with platinum-plated metal inserts.
The Special Edition is inspired by Eliza Doolittle, Shaw’s most famous character, protagonist of the comedy Pygmalion.
Just like Eliza, the poor flower girl who transforms into an aristocratic lady, the pen shows a metamorphosis along the entire platinum body which, transforms into a precious dark green resin.
This intense, marbled green also represents the lush Irish meadows so dear to the writer.
