Dedicated to Carlo Collodi, father of the unforgettable character of Pinocchio and sublime master of children’s literature, the Writers Edition 2011 evokes the magical world of the famous puppet.
Made in a limited edition, Montblanc Writer’s Edition Carlo Collodi features a refined brown resin body that recalls the wood of the puppet. On the precious skeletonized hood, there are the representations of the main characters of the saga, such as the cat, the fox, and the whale, but also the talking cricket and the blue fairy. A screw set on the clip represents the puppet’s joints, while the cone symbolizes its legendary nose. This authentic masterpiece is made unique by champagne-tone gold finishes and the ivory-colored Montblanc emblem and further embellished by the engraving of the serial number and the author’s signature. The nib, in 18 K champagne gold, is embellished with an exclusive talking cricket engraving.
