Description

Initially named Lungdunum, meaning the mountain of the god of light, Lyon was founded in 43 B.C. by one of Caesar’s Lieutenants, Munatius Plancus and was promoted “Capital of the Gauls” by the Emperor Augustus

After the great success of its previous limited editions, Pompei and Colosseum, Delta offers this limited edition, the Lungdunum. In this way, Delta, artigianni della Scrittura, continues to create writing instruments that honor the old Roman Empire.

The Lungdunum is hand turned from a special pearled green resin. It is individually engraved with Delta’s trademark and limited edition progressive numbering. The cap is hand turned from a special black resin and it has a sterling silver Delta logo on top. The coupling to the barrel is accomplished with a three start thread pace.

This version, the 18kt solid gold version is offered in a solid wooden case with a beautiful green inkwell and a personal diary made of handmade Amalfi paper

The millenium nib 18kt gold (750% solid gold) FINE NIB.  Emperor August’ bust engraved on top of clip.
